SCORE Grand Rapids, Chapter #642, has 36 counselors who provide FREE and CONFIDENTIAL business advice to any small business entrepreneur or small business owner in the Kent County and surrounding area -- in person, by phone, even via e-mail if you like.
SCORE Grand Rapids also offers LOW COST BUSINESS WORKSHOPS that provide an overview to starting and planning your business. Our workshops are three hours in length and cover a wide range of important topics from researching your idea, determining your market, analyzing your competition, deciding upon your type of business entity, preparing a budget and most importantly - preparing your business plan. We also provide a list of other business resources that may be of assistance to you.
Our SCORE counselors have many years of successful business experience as business owners, business managers and as senior executives in major corporations. In addition, our men and women are experienced in finance, accounting, human resources, sales, marketing, manufacturing, retail, public relations and much more.
